Volunteers needed for the Flushing Summerfest, June 8th, 9th, 10th  and 11th, times vary. If you can help, please email Bill at author58@yahoo.com

While the weather may not feel like it, summer is just around the corner and planning for the 2023 Flushing SummerFest is in full swing!  This year’s festival is June 7th through June 11th and will be bigger and better than years past with new activities and more entertainment in addition to the carnival midway we know and love.

In keeping with tradition, we will kick off SummerFest with the annual parade Wednesday evening, followed by four spectacular days of fun and excitement.  This year’s theme will be “Back Through the Decades”, and we invite you to join the parade with a theme inspired entry.  This is a great way to get your business name in front of the community.

July 4th, Fenton Freedom Festival- line up at 9:00am (parade begins at 10:00am) Patriotic theme

This patriotic all-day event is one of the key staples of the Fenton community. Attracting people by the thousands throughout the day, both businesses and the public alike can celebrate the holiday by taking part in or watching the famous Freedom Festival parade, running the Firecracker 5K race, visiting local arts and craft vendors, enjoying music, a chicken dinner and children’s games, and ending the day taking in the spectacular sights of the fireworks displayed from Silver Lake Park!

To register for the parade or to adopt a firework please visit the Fenton & Linden Regional Chamber of Commerce Chamber Foundation Website – www.flchamberfoundation.org/freedom-festival
