GENESEE COUNTY- The Genesee County Neighborhood Watch says they are getting closer to finding the arsonist behind the daily house fires in Flint.
Matthew Smith, Board President of the Genesee County Neighborhood Watch, says they have narrowed it down to a certain pocket of the city.
“There is a trend happening here. If you take the houses to be condemned and compare it to the fires, it’s interesting to say the least”, Smith said.
The Genesee County Neighborhood Watch was on patrol Tuesday May 10 in the area of Iowa and Delaware, heavily. Interestingly enough, Flint Police were also in the area.
The second that the crew headed to Mount Morris, a fire went off on that same street.
What is the significance of this? It could mean the arsonist is watching the Neighborhood Watch? It could also mean that the arsonist is working with others?
Nevertheless, the new strategy of the Genesee County Neighborhood Watch is confidential but they say they are working to crack the case once and for all.
