After COVID-19 threw a wrench in to the 2021 Chrome and Ice Car Show, it’s coming back bigger and better for its 7th run in 2022! All new surprises are in store for this 3 day event taking place from February 11th through 13th at the Dort Financial Center in Flint.
There will be over 125 cars on display, ranging from classic to custom vehicles, plus sports cars, muscle cars, hot rods, and trucks, which will span two arenas and the mezzanine. The lobby will host a collection of cars fans may recognize from historic movies like Dukes of Hazard, Smokey and the Bandit, and so much more! The DeLorean from ‘Back to the Future’ and the 1966 Batmobile will also be in attendance.
Additionally, the show is hosting its first live concert this year. Local rock group, the John Vance Band will be the opening act with Josh Gracin, an American Idol contestant from season four and Michigan native to perform afterward. With more than 50 sponsors and automotive-related vendor displays, demonstrations, concessions, and live entertainment, Chrome and Ice is revved up and ready to take you for a ride!
