Khary L. Hanible, an assistant prosecuting attorney with the Genesee County Prosecutor’s Office has been appointed as Judge Joseph J. Farah’s replacement in Michigan’s 7th Circuit Court by Governor Gretchen Whitmer this week. Having successfully prosecuted cases such as the Flint Family Dollar homicide case earlier this year, Mr. Hanible is sure to bring a wealth of experience and expertise to his role on the court bench until 2024 when he will be required to seek re-election for his seat should he wish retain it further beyond that date.
