Although vaccine supply remains below demand, all adults and some teenagers are now able to register for an appointment at Meijer, Kroger, Rite Aid, Walgreens and other pharmacy chains.
Michigan is currently halfway passed the goal of having 70% of its population vaccinated by the end of this year, with more than 35% of people having already received at least one shot.
Michigan has reported a surge in cases that are the highest in the U.S. in the past two weeks. Some schools are also discontinuing in-person learning after spring break ends next week.
