Michigan announces their newest state park in Flint

Gov. Gretchen Whitmer announced today that the Chevy Commons in flint will be turned into Michigan’s newest state park, with a historical $26.2 million investment, hoping to potentially open an amphitheater and a canoe/kayak launch along with other recreational areas and facilities. Plans for the park are still in their early stages and no completion date has been announced yet.
