From 9:00 am until the one of the last arriving flights of the day, the Patriot Guard Riders will be standing guard at Flint Bishop Airport and greeting military men, women, and veterans as they return home for the holidays. With Thanksgiving this week, it is one of the busiest travel days of the year, so it is likely many service members will be travelling.
The Riders form a flag line anytime a past or present service member travels through the airport. It’s also a great opportunity to spread holiday cheer to the general travelling public.
“This event makes for a great day at FNT and we’re always so thankful to the Patriot Guard Riders for doing what they do,” said Nino Sapone, CEO of Flint Bishop International Airport. “ Their efforts in giving out active military and veterans the attention they deserve are incredible acts of kindness, and we love seeing that at the airport.”
